BOOK YOUR CONSULTATION
Everything you need to know before booking your complimentary consultation.
An organized home is about more than appearance. When your surroundings feel cluttered or difficult to manage, everyday routines can start to feel more stressful and overwhelming. A professional organizer brings a fresh perspective, helps break the process into manageable steps, and creates systems around the way you actually live. The goal is to reduce visual clutter, simplify routines, make your belongings easier to find, and create a home that feels calmer, more functional, and easier to maintain. Sometimes you don’t need more space—you simply need a new perspective on the space you already have.
Kura Space offers:
• Professional Organizing
• Space Refresh & Rearranging
• Unpacking & Home Setup
• Virtual Organizing
Every project is personalized around your home, lifestyle, routines, needs, and budget.
Almost any area of your home, including kitchens, pantries, closets, bedrooms, bathrooms, playrooms, home offices, laundry rooms, garages, entryways, and storage areas. You can begin with one space or work through your home in phases.
No. You do not need to organize before we arrive. Seeing your space as you normally use it helps us understand what is working, what isn’t, and where better systems can be created. We simply ask that the area be reasonably sanitary and safe for us to work in.
While organizing, we may do light cleaning of the immediate work area, such as wiping an empty shelf, drawer, cabinet, or surface before placing items back. Deep cleaning, scrubbing, carpet cleaning, appliance cleaning, mold removal, heavy grease removal, and general housekeeping are not included.
No. You are always in control of what stays and what goes.
We provide guidance and help you make thoughtful decisions, but we will never pressure you to discard something you want to keep.
Usually, no.
If we complete a walkthrough before your project begins, we may recommend certain products in advance when there is a clear need.
Once the project begins, we categorize your belongings and better understand what actually needs to remain in the space. From there, additional product recommendations can be made based on your needs, available space, style, and budget.
Whenever possible, we also look for ways to use what you already own before recommending additional purchases.
Your participation is especially helpful during decluttering and decision-making because only you can decide what you would like to keep, donate, relocate, or remove.
Once your preferences and decisions are established, portions of the organizing work may be completed independently when agreed upon beforehand.
Every project is different.
The amount of time depends on the size of the space, volume of belongings, your decision-making pace, and the level of organizing or refreshing needed.
We will provide an estimated timeframe and communicate with you if additional time may be recommended.
Absolutely.
Let us know your preferred budget during your consultation, and we can prioritize the areas that will make the greatest difference within the time and resources available.
For Space Refresh projects, we also prioritize thoughtfully using what you already own before recommending unnecessary new purchases.
There is no need to be embarrassed.
Kura Space provides a respectful, judgment-free experience. Homes become cluttered for many reasons—busy schedules, moves, growing families, limited storage, major life changes, or simply systems that no longer work.
You do not need to have everything figured out before asking for help. Helping you find a manageable way forward is part of what we do.
Kura Space primarily serves Bellingham, Ferndale, Blaine, Lynden, and surrounding Whatcom County communities.
Virtual Organizing is available regardless of location.
Possibly.
Projects outside our standard service area may include an additional travel fee based on distance, travel time, parking, tolls, ferry costs, or other travel-related expenses.
Any additional fee will be discussed with you before your appointment is confirmed.
Yes.
For safety and productivity, children should be supervised by another responsible adult during the session, and pets should be secured when necessary.
This allows us to move items safely and make the most of your scheduled time.
For everyone's safety, firearms and other weapons must be securely stored before your appointment.
Kura Space does not handle, move, organize, pack, transport, or dispose of firearms or ammunition.
We can help sort, categorize, and prepare approved donation items during your organizing session.
Depending on the amount and size of the items, donation drop-off assistance may be available or we may recommend an appropriate local donation or hauling service.
Photos may be taken to document your transformation, but your privacy is important to us.
Photos will never be publicly used on our website, portfolio, or marketing materials without your permission.
Yes.
Virtual Organizing provides personalized guidance wherever you are. We can walk through your space together, identify challenges, create an action plan, recommend products when needed, and guide you through completing the project step by step.
